Who I Am

My name is Jason Dillingham and I live in North Carolina, in the US. I believe that Jesus is the Messiah, God incarnate and that salvation is a gift of God’s grace through faith in His finished work, John 19:30..

And through this FAITH, I have learned and began walking an ancient path (Jeremiah 6) that makes my faith stronger, the Bible richer and the LORD’s goodness more manifest in my life.

I have been on this journey to learn and walk as a disciple of Jesus and intentionally reproduce this process in others for 23 years (Luke 6:40, John 17:5).

About Me

There is nothing particularly special about me, with the exception that I will not settle for religious tradition above truth, really want to live the text of Scripture and will not fit into a neat theological box.

I am a religious non-conformist, a boat rocker and tend to question everything about the Scriptures and how to live them out. I love to wrestle with the truth and learn in groups of people that want a faith that will not settle for the religious status quo of the Sunday morning social club.

Family and Life

I am a husband to my wife Deborah (28+ years), father to Jacob (married to Allison) and Rachel. I am also a business owner (10+ years) and a teaching Pastor (too many places to list). I love travel, missions, Bible study and spending my time building others into World Visionary Disciple Makers.

My Faith Timeline

My walk with Jesus started in 2001 and has been a fantastic journey.

• Saved in a Baptist Church at the age of 27. (2001)

• Called into teaching, ministry and missions. (2004)

• Short term mission work and building disciples. (2004 - present)

• Served as Bi-Vocational Pastor. (2004 - present)

• Teaching about Discipleship, Torah and the Kingdom. (2006 - present)

• Started a new Fellowship 2025.

No formal education worth mentioning, yet I do have a ferocious appetite for learning when it comes to the Scriptures and Biblical understanding.

I do not know everything, but I am striving to follow Jesus as much as possible. You're welcome to follow me as I follow Christ on the journey.

Why Kingdom Discipleship?

I am not criticizing sermons, Bible studies or even the amount of biblical information people receive. What I do challenge, is the intention of the listeners and the lack of hearing that our “churches” are unintentionally producing.

In many churches, people arrive expecting to hear a message. They filter it through what they already believe, mentally agree with whatever sounds right and leave without any expectation that they should retain it, reproduce it, practice it or pass it on.

Recognition is not perception. Agreement is not formation. And hearing does not happen simply because a person audibly heard a sermon. And that is the passion of Kingdom Discipleship, teach people “How to Hear” and invest in others.
