I See Men As Trees

There is a miracle in the Gospel of Mark that used to make me scratch my head. It seemed like such an unusual miracle until I looked at it from a different perspective. The conversation that Jesus has with His disciples before and after the encounter with the blind man give clues to the meaning behind the strange healing.

The question we should ask ourselves when reading Mark 8 is this, “Do I see all men clearly?”

Have you learned the skill of seeing the value and potential of the people around you? Make it your habit to look for and cultivate the potential of people in your life; asking God to let you see people the way that He does.
