Are the commandments beneficial or necessary for a believer in Jesus? The modern church has mostly taken the stance that the Law was taken away.

But is this what Jesus or the Apostles had in mind? What relationship does a Christian have with the Torah? Maybe there is a healthy way to follow Torah while honoring the Lord Jesus and His free gift of righteousness through the Cross.
